Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana is a bollywood romantic drama film. The movie was directed by Ratnaa Sinha and produced by Vinod Bachchan and Manju Bachchan. 

The movie had a running time of 2h 17m and was released on 10 November 2017 with Rajkumar Rao as the lead actor and Kirti Kharbanda as the lead actress.

The film’s storyline revolves around a young couple who have an arranged marriage but face several challenges in their relationship.

However, at the end once the challenges over how Satendra (Rajkumar Rao) who shows his ego towards Ms Aarti Shukla (Kirti Kharbanda) and later after all the confusion and ego over, how this couple got married is the entire story of the movie. 

I loved this movie very well and saw this movie multiple times. Even though the movie is running on national television channels every time I saw the movie with my entire family.

Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana Movie Full Story:

The story of Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana revolves around Satyendra Mishra (played by Rajkummar Rao) and Aarti Shukla (played by Kriti Kharbanda), who are set to get married through an arranged marriage. 

Satyendra was a government employee who was looking for a simple, beautiful and honest girl for his marriage. On the other side, Aarti who belongs to the Shukla family was a bright and ambitious girl who wants to pursue her dreams. 

Both of their uncles introduced both couples and their families to each other. However, the Mishra family demanded a huge dowry from the Shukla family. Aarti’s uncle tried to convenience Aarti’s father regarding not to give dowry to the Mishra family. But as a father, Mr Mishra wants to get a government employee as a life partner to his daughter. Then, Aarti’s father promised to Mishra family to give the dowry of 25 lacs. 

Aarti and Satendra they both fall in love during their courtship period. 

A few days before marriage Aarti’s sister meets with Satendyas mother for further rituals on that day Aarti’s sister said that Aarti wants to do a job for the same she is preparing a for state level civil services examination. However, in response to the same Satendras mother intimated that Daughter in law of Mishra never did the job to date and in future also Aarti can not do the job.

After hearing such a response Aarti’s sister got shocked and she informed the same to the Aarti. On the day of their marriage, the result for the state-level examination was declared and Aarti was a topper in that exam. Hence, Aarti’s sister suggested to her that if she want to become a government employee then she should run from that marriage and should make her dream true.

On that, day Aartis took the decision and she was run away from her own marriage, leaving Satyendra heartbroken. 

The film then moved to five years ahead where it was shown that Aarti becomes a successful PCS officer who was a suspect in the bribe case and due to which she was suspended till the resolution of the same case.

Aarti learns throughout the investigation that Satyendra, who is now the District Collector and an IAS Officer, is the officer in charge of her case. Aarti learns that Satyendra has zero compassion for her.

When Aarti asks Satyendra for help, he turns away from her and insults her and her family. After the investigation was finished, Aarti was found not guilty. Later it is discovered that Satyendra was the one who contributed to the inquiry to establish Aarti’s innocence.

Later, Aarti makes numerous attempts—all in vain—to make amends with Satyendra. Aarti is shown getting married a few months later, and Satyendra’s family is also present. On the wedding day, Satyendra realises his love for Aarti and breaks down the gate while holding her fiancé Sharad at gunpoint.

It turns out that both families staged the wedding as a play to force Satyendra to acknowledge his actual sentiments. Aarti and Satyendra marry in the film’s climax.

The film follows their journey as they try to navigate their feelings for each other and resolve the issues that led to their separation.
